Unfortunately most brands fell well short of offering a good (or even any) mobile web experience which is very surprising considering the following:

• Mobile search queries are up 294% in the last two years in Ireland
• Nearly half of all mobile owners use internet on their phones in Ireland but only 24% of Irish marketers use mobile
• 44% of Irish consumers search online using their mobile phones
• UK companies invest twice as much as Irish companies in online
