Rather than sending Christmas or New Year cards this year we have made a donation to the wonderful charity Novas. Novas work with families, single people and unaccompanied minors who are disadvantaged and socially excluded; primarily those who are homeless or at risk of being homeless. They take on people that some charities can find too difficult to deal with, which is where their slogan “we start where others stop” comes from. www.novas.ie
